We often get asked how and why we started Fully Loaded Tea and this is our story, starting as residents of the coldest place on Earth and ending with creating the unique tea blends that are enjoyed by tea lovers all over!

Yet another treacherously cold Siberian winter day. It’s good to know we can always add wild berries to our tea for a hot and healthy pick-me-up.

We’ve immigrated to Canada with the family, and beautiful British Columbia definitely lives up to its name.

We’ve decided to move to Europe to attend the Sorbonne University in Paris, and study Spanish in Spain

We went to check out the famous French teahouse in Paris today, and it was quite an experience. Pristine colonial décor. Charming rattan furniture. Handsome waiters dressed in white from head to toe, serving tiny quiches on delicate porcelain plates. That’s when it dawned on us – when did drinking tea become so hoity-toity?

Based on our revelation at the French teahouse, we made a massive decision today. We’re going to abandon our plans in Europe, move back to Vancouver, and devote our time to reinventing the namby-pamby reputation of tea by creating our own anti-pretentious tea blends jam-packed with real fruit – like the tea we used to drink as kids in Siberia.

With our combined knowledge of different fruits, berries and tea, we’ve been carefully coming up with a variety of blends – each complimenting one another and the type of tea they’re blended with. We’re using exotic fruits and berries, like the goji berry and seabuckthorn, which we used to grow in Siberia for making jams.

Production has finally started, but not without a couple of snags. Regular teabags couldn’t hold the huge pieces of fruits, berries, and tealeaves in our blends. Luckily, we found finely woven pyramid-shaped bags to hold all the ingredients. And we discovered that running the packing machine twice as slow gave it more time to pack in all the ingredients. After facing all these problems, it seemed quite fitting to call our company “Fully Loaded Tea”.

Today, all our hard work paid off. Fully Loaded Tea officially made its first public appearance. After this whole process, we’ve decided to share our success by contributing to charities for children and seniors, as well as supporting the arts locally and internationally.
